Paul Heidenreich 

I am an active health services researcher and cardiologist within the Veteran’s Affairs system for over 20 years.  I have over 20 years of experience conducting research to examining implementation of EHR interventions, examining care and outcome of cardiovascular care delivery using a diverse array of data sources including national registry data, clinical trial data, and administrative data. I currently serve as the Principal Investigator of the VA Medication Safety QUERI program. I also serve as a Vice-Chair for Quality in the Department of Medicine and Chief of Medicine at the VA Palo Alto Health Care System.
